You will gradually get more money. Then you buy more expensive things and do the same thing over and over again. However, there are 2 cons to playing the market. You need a lot of patience. It will usually take a while for someone to buy your item over the competition.

Every once in a while, you will get an item to sell and it just won't sell. Sometimes you will have to cancel your sale and re-sale your item for the same low price you got it for and move on to something else.

Go as far as you can, go into buildings, search dead bodies on the streets, don't worry about dying! You will still be able to keep all items you collected except cash. Sell your looted items on the marketplace for a little higher than the scrap value and you make a bunch of cash anyway. Use a melee weapon.

The last thing you need is a swarm of zombies on you caused by your own gun! Try to avoid looting alone. You will have less chance of dying if your working together in a mob. You should also be able to get farther into the city.

Also, look at the chat. If everyone is talking about a swarm of zombies or simply don't chat at all, there is high aggro where they are.

There is such a thing as "Random Aggro". Sometimes you will get swarmed with zombies for no apparant reason. Sometimes you will go on a loot run and get almost nothing! This is rare but it happens. If you are a doctor, scientist, farmer, or chef, you can sell your special services on the marketplace.

If you are not any of those, do not fear! For you can be a merc! Mercs go onto the CB radio and chat around for people looking for someone to "Escort" them somewhere. Most are willing to pay a hefty amount of money for your merc service.

At times, you won't find anyone in need of your "Escort" or mercenary services and you will just have to do something else. Some mean players don't want to return the favor.

In other words, they will not pay you. They will just log out. I hope this helps some of you money-hungry players. When u have killed all the zombies loot the whole place since its going to be zombie free.
